About Mark Riley

Mark Riley opened his first salon in 1981, on the first floor of a building in King Street, Huddersfield. Since then the business has grown to now have 3 salons; in Huddersfield town centre, Waterloo & Brighouse. The group of salons now employs some 30+ people.

Mark Riley is passionate about hair. A passion, which has translated into a lifelong career, at the forefront of hairdressing. Over the years he has won numerous awards & accolades, but perhaps his greatest testament is the inspiration he has been to many young hairdressers in our region.

Mark Riley's vision to pass on his knowledge & passion on a greater & more formal scale, was realised in 2006, when the Mark Riley Training Academy was first opened. Still going strong & training young hairdressers today - it has educated more than 125 hairdressers over the past 5 years; many of whom have risen through the ranks & then gone on to open successful salons of their own.
